Schedule: Work days based on student calendar.

Hours:   7:00 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. (7.25 hours/day, includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break)

Position Criteria:

• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Experience in high volume, fast food preferred

Performance Criteria: 

• Assist in preparing foods; taste tests to check quality of product.
• May assist in setting up service areas.
• Assist with cleaning and storing of food, preparation, transporting and serving.
• Correctly portion and neatly serve food items.
• Clean the lunchroom and kitchen after service.
• Correctly operate all kitchen equipment.
• Practice safety precautions at all times.
• Cashier lunch/breakfast.
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Board.

Physical Demands:

The Food Service - General Worker position physical demands require occasional maximum lift of 30 lbs. from knuckle (10") to waist; occasional lift waist to overhead of 15 lbs; Occasional horizontal push/pull of 35 lbs. of force; occasional maximum carry of 30 lbs. for 10 ft; Constant grip strength of 20 pounds; frequent hand coordination; frequent bending, standing, reaching forward; occasional crouching/kneeling or sitting.
